Log Cabin Progress Week of May 8, 2006

It took over 150 gallons of log oil to get it to the stage we are at currently. That's 4 coats on the outside and 5 on the inside. The inside still needs one more coat at least. We started sawing boards for the deck. That needs to go on before we can put in the first of the windows. I also needed to back fill some in the front where the deck was going so I rented some equipment to haul from a nearby gravel pit. This week is the first week that we saw water start running in the creek.
