Log Cabin Progress June 23, 2007

It was another exciting week at Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge. We started adding logs to one of our new guest cabins and got up to round 5. We had a 3.14 earthquake at breakfast the other morning with the epicenter about 4 miles from our place. Marilyn (Bob's wife) headed home with Denali's playmate, Jeckyl. We had our first LCWL guests, Travis and Angelic, who are good friends of our B&B managers. All of the flooring is finally down now that we put down the T&G in the office, tile in the back mud room and carpet in the den.

This morning on my way out to start the generator a young bull moose, with velet antlers was out by the sawmill.
