Log Cabin Progress 7.15.06

It was a good week of progress. Lots of changes making the lodge start to take shape on the inside. We worked on interior walls, gathered burnt poles to start work on the railings inside and out, closed up openings around the gables and dormer, located the logs for the front steps - sawed them in half and sanded them, and even took part of the day off to go fishing on our day off.

My primary helpers are Danny and David who are there every day. Jill comes down much more often this year. Larry and Laurie, work kampers who are helping at the B&B come down when we need extra help. Jesse comes down occasionally and brings a sweet treat - milk shakes!
