Log Cabin Progress
July 9, 2005

The higher we get the slower things seem to go. The weather hasn't really been on our side this week. We had two new guys join us last Sunday - Rod and Doug. Great workers with plenty of experience. Unfortunately we started the week with a day off on the 4th, then the 5th it poured. As it turned out we actually only got one full day in along with a couple partial days.

Friday was Harry's last day so Jesse made him a scrumpious carrot cake. We did run short on logs so John had to go to the sawmill to get two loads, plus he took one other load to his friends to cut into lumber for the flooring. Rod and Doug got started lining out the log trusses. Once we finish round 9 we'll start putting the pieces together.
