Log Cabin Progress
August 20 - August 27, 2005

This week it was mostly Joe and I. Jill was able to come down a couple of times to help out. For just two guys we made some amazing progress on some very steep and high places. When you have to tie everything and everyone off so you don't loose it off the roof that takes extra time. From the photos it might look like the roof is nearing completion, while that is half right. But we haven't touched the back yet.

We took a couple of opportunities to go fishing. Last Sunday we went to Broken Bridge to catch some nice graying which you can see here. This week we took our canoe to Mineral Lake to catch some pike. Joe caught a great one which you can see below.

We also got involved in a small search and rescue when a gentleman from Tok came by saying he lost his partner moose hunting, asking if we could help find him. We did is short order.
